iNAP One Sleep Therapy System

The Intraoral Negative Air Pressure (iNAP) system is an alternative to traditional CPAP therapy. Instead of using a mask that sits under the nose or covers the face, the iNAP is placed inside the mouth. The device then uses gentle suction to pull the tongue forward and open up the airway to prevent apnea. The iNAP should only be used for patients without oral or dental issues who can breathe through their noses at night.

How iNAP Works

While you sleep, iNAP delivers a gentle suction inside the oral cavity, moving the tongue forward and away from the airway. When you’re ready for bed, simply insert the mouthpiece and click on the power button. iNAP’s intermittent negative airway pressure effectively eliminates apnea by keeping the airway open and allowing you to breathe naturally and sleep peacefully.

iNAP Lab + Phone App

Track your usage and take control of your treatment data by downloading the iNAP Lab+ app from the App Store or Google Play.

Once the device is paired with your smartphone, your total treatment time and sealing percentage by Day/Week/Month will be displayed. When paired with an oximeter, you will also see your oxygen desaturation index (ODI) which is an indication of the efficacy of iNAP.

The sealing percentage is an index of the vacuum status. For example: 85% sealing time means you have 85% of your total treatment under vacuum, and 15% of the time, the pump was working to move your tongue forward in order to create vacuum status.

To determine if iNAP is right for you, it is important to be evaluated by a board-certified sleep physician. We offer timely telehealth appointments with several physicians who are based in California and beyond. If you have your own sleep doctor, that’s fine too! A prescription is required in order to try iNAP.
